Who or what is Righteous Apparel LLC and why should you care?
There are literally dozens, if not hundreds of “Christian clothing brands” already out on the market. Some have been around for years and others surfacing more recently just as we have (or at least are trying to). So again, who is Righteous Apparel LLC. and why should you care?
What’s the difference?
Well first, though there may be “faith-based” brands by the dozens to choose from, I will be as bold as to say that most of these brands don’t truly reflect in their presentation of their business what they profess. I know what you’re thinking right now, “whoa, that’s very judgmental of you to say!” But that’s precisely what I’m getting at. If we are claiming to represent Jesus in our businesses, whether we sell wares or a particular service, we should strive to live out our beliefs in all our business practices.
Here’s what I mean. Before we even launched our online store, we had prayerfully and patiently waited for years for God to open the doors for this opportunity. We made sure that we prayed over the business and dedicated it to Him. In other words, we gave God the right to direct us in how we run things.
For instance, when we were initially selecting products to place our designs on for sale, I thought it would be a great idea to place our “No Excuses!” design on a muscle tee, thinking that it would be a perfect look for anyone into sports or fitness. Still, I wasn’t one hundred percent sure if this was representative of the message we were trying to share through our brand. So, I decided to bring it to the LORD in prayer.
He reminded me of the name that we chose for our brand, Righteous Apparel. In that, I believe that the LORD was saying, if we are going to stand for righteousness than we need to portray that as best we can, always.
Another example was the selection of one of the females used in the photography to display our “His P.R.I.N.C.E.S.S.” design. At first, I really didn’t think much about it. A few days later, as I examined the photo a little closer, I decided to replace it. Now, the woman in the photo was fully clothed to be sure, but the way she was posing for the camera and the tight-fitting leather pants that she was wearing didn’t convey the message we were trying to make with that design.
Now you might think that we are taking this righteousness thing a little too far or maybe being a bit self-righteous even. The fact of the matter is, we know that our righteousness comes from our relationship with Jesus Christ alone and we do take that very seriously. We try to represent Him in every part of our business and hold to the highest standard possible.
What does that mean for me?
Our hope is, that if you are like-minded in your commitment to Christ, that you would partner with us as we endeavor to use Righteous Apparel LLC to raise up the standard in the church, to that of Jesus Christ himself.
a.) We want the clothing that we put out to first, bring glory to God Almighty and His Son Jesus Christ.
b.) Secondly, to confidently represent Him with how we present ourselves to others with what we choose to wear.
c.) Lastly, we would like to encourage other believers to go deeper in their relationship with Jesus and bring loving conviction to the minds of those who have never considered who or what it is that they are living for via our apparel.

- The most obvious way of course is to wear Righteous Apparel LLC brand clothing and allow God to use that to encourage and convict those that see you and take notice of what you wear.
- Next, would be prayer. We understand that many people are struggling financially at this very strange time in our lives. That is why one of our mottos is “Souls over Sales”. We haven’t started this business with the intent to get rich, but to store up treasures in heaven (Matt 6:20). We strongly believe in the power of prayer and humbly ask that you would pray with us that God’s will be done through Righteous Apparel LLC.
- Finally, we ask that you share Righteous Apparel LLC. with anyone that you know would be interested in what we offer and what we stand for.
What does 2021 look like for Righteous Apparel?
Honestly, while we do have lots of ideas and goals that we would like to see realized in this new year, God alone knows what the future hold for us. We are sincerely humbled with this opportunity that the LORD has blessed us with to share biblical truth with others through our designs.
We can only hope that God is pleased with our offering of service to Him and His name and that even just one life will be dramatically impacted by the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ printed on the back of a t-shirt or the sleeve of a hoodie.
